Dear Friends, Partners, and Colleagues,

Today Sarah Cherin and Joe Mizrahi are excited to share that we’re launching a new consulting firm: Frontline Impact Group (FIG). After many incredible years at UFCW 3000, we have stepped down from our roles as Secretary-Treasurer and Chief of Staff to begin this next chapter. 

Serving UFCW 3000 for almost two decades, we’ve had the opportunity to work alongside thousands of members, elected leaders, organizers, and community partners to take on some incredibly important fights. Together, we’ve helped win paid sick leave and the $15 minimum wage, fought for marriage equality, bargained contracts against Fortune 50 companies, expanded protections for healthcare workers, , supported successful organizing drives, and helped stop the Kroger-Albertsons merger. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together, but even more grateful for the awesome people (like you) we’ve been able to work with. 

While we’re leaving our current roles with UFCW 3000, we’re not leaving the movement. First and foremost, we are excited to announce that we will be continuing to deeply work with UFCW 3000 in a consultant capacity. So, if you need to reach UFCW and Sarah or I were your point-person before, feel free to continue to reach out on UFCW issues. And beyond UFCW, we’re already at work, partnering with unions, government agencies, and progressive businesses on issues like access to transit, strong healthcare and retirement, affordable housing, independent journalism, access to higher education and apprenticeship and more. 

Over the last twenty years leading campaigns on the frontlines of Washington policy-making, we’ve learned what it takes to win on issues that create a positive impact for our community: thoughtful strategy, strong coalition building, and people willing to do the hard work of organizing. That’s what we’re bringing to Frontline Impact Group.

Frontline Impact works with unions, nonprofits, campaigns, public-sector leaders, government agencies, and mission-driven organizations navigating complex, high-stakes challenges. We’ve managed budgets, negotiated contracts, built campaign plans, built and supported statewide and national coalitions, and led organizations through hard moments. Our goal is simple: help organizations and agencies become more effective to create a positive and lasting impact.
